arthritis

just finished my ppt presentation on rheumatoid arthritis..i got to do the treatment part..
since my mom is having RA..i called her up to know about her drugs..as the profs always say..patient is the best teacher..my mom knows about RA better than i do..she knows each and every function of her drugs..it was easier to ask someone who is suffering from the disease rather than reading about it in the book..

sometimes i feel sad looking at her when she has her flare ups..she couldn't even drive since one of her wrists is swollen and stiff..when it migrates to her feet..walking is hard for her..morning will be the most devastating time for her because of the joint stiffness..
my dad did a good job in taking care of my mom..he would put warm wash cloths on her stiff joints.thankfully the symptoms are suppressed now..doctor is putting her on methotrexate..now it has been 5 months on the drug..
