balek kampung

again this entry was inspired by haz's blog..

i saw photos of kb in her blog..it looked so different from before..because for me the last time i went back to kelate was 5 years back..my family goes there every year..everytime my family balek kampung..my mom will call me..she'll say.."ade kedai kain baru kat bdr tanah merah".."ade tesco kat kb".."pizza hut dah bukak"..n keep on babbling about new things there..

but for me because of a-level exams and the fact that i am in india currently thats why i haven't been there for quite sometime..

everytime i come home for the holidays..my tok mek will come to my house with my aunt..they will cook me nasi kerabu..my fav dish from kelate..bring me kuih cek mek molek..kerpok ikan..my aunt will always buy me tudung from the bazar i think..

one thing about me n loghat kelate is that i can't talk but i can understand..i tried to kecek kelate but my friend in school said i was ruining the language..my dad never kecek with us..but if my aunt talks very fast..then i'll tell her to repeat..my younger cousin even said to my tok mek..
"ape tok mek ckp nih..amir tak faham..diamlah..amir nak tgk cartoon"

i think my tok mek must be very disappointed with all her cucu because we never and don't even know how to kecek kelate..
maybe one sweet day i'll go to tanah merah..but when will that day come??
