now i'm having anaesthesia posting..so basically i have to go to the OT everyday..then just linger around watching the anaesthetist making patients go to sleep before the surgery..at the same time i get to watch the surgeries..
one in particular..today i saw a huge hydrocele..it was the size of a musk melon i think..for those who don't know what a hydrocele is..it is basically a collection of fluid in the scrotum..the skin was so stretched out..that it became so thin and the blood vessels were visible..
i saw the surgeon draining the fluid out..but i had to keep a distance away as the fluid might splash around..and u don't want to get that fluid on u..errrr...after all the fluid was drained out the skin was like a tissue paper..so thinned out...
