as a 7th sem mbbs student saturday practically doesn't exist for us. saturday is synonymous with half-day work then by 1pm you're free. but here in mangalore there is no such thing especially for us. on saturday we have clinical postings from 9am till at least 11am. then afternoon class from 2pm till 5pm.
any normal people will be out watching a movie or hanging out with frens or just lazing around at home on a saturday. but we 'the unfortunate one' are still in class listening to lectures. of course at that time nothing goes into your head..all of us are restless waiting for the class to end.
however, on friday we only have 1 afternoon class that finishes at 3pm..thats why i'm labelling friday the new saturday.right after class we went to big bazaar..buy movie tickets of wutever is showing that weekend.. then as usual hanging out at ccd.
why can't they make saturday a half day???
isn't it enough torturing us with 2 to 5 classes for the whole week..
