mysore

day 1

we headed out to the bus station around 9pm.what were we we gonna do since our bus was at 11pm.so we sat at ccd..then when it closed we hang out in front of big bazaar taking pictures.hahaha.people were all watching us.who were these 3 girls taking picture in the middle of the night carrying large bags???

then at 11.15pm we boarded the bus.we were off to our weekend destination to mysore.i slept throughout the journey.to my surprise we arrived in mysore earlier that expected.last time i came here we arrived at around 7am i think.this time we arrived at 4am.luckily we already booked a hotel..thanks to a friend.we went straight to the hotel and the people were still sleeping.we checked in and continued sleeping.

we were up and ready for the sightseeing in mysore.people say that we have to visit the palace and the zoo.we stayed near by the palace.but luck was not on our side.it was the election day. a national holiday.all these places were closed.but we still went for sight seeing to other places.

first we went to the chamudi hill (i dunno the spelling).its a temple area.took some snaps.i was really fascinated by the coconut decorated with colourful flowers which was meant for offerings to the gods.even managed to steel some snaps of the coconut.heh..

next destination was more fun.it was really hot.sun was burning our skin.and u know what we did??we went boating at 12pm when the sun is directly above us.we decided to go with the paddle boat.of course we did'nt know how to manouver that boat.we had to control the handle to move about.then we ended up moving in circles..almost hitting a log..going into a swamp..we did'nt get far.finally we stopped because we were tired and heat of the sun was unbearable.



after that we went for lunch..ewww..i'd rather stay hungry than eating at that place again.then to a historical church.took some more snaps.then to a place called tippu sultan palace.we went to somewhere near the palace.i could'nt recall the name.but it was beautiful.it was so green.of course we took more pics.this is when a group of indian family looked at us.the mother was making cooing sound at us as if we were a baby.she continued to look at us smiling..then finally she approached us.she wanted a picture with us.hehe.ended up the whole family took pictures with us. then there were some other people quietly taking pictures of us thinking that we did'nt notice.were we that adorable till everyone wants to have a snap of us.or were we so weird??
