jalan-jalan india

let the journey of me and my two friends begin..i'm off to a place where i have been before.now i'm bringing along my two friends who have been wanting to go to this place. i'm sorry for my other friend who couldn't come along since she has to be at another place. why??why?? i know you really wanted to go here with us. its ok. i'll update you with whats happening up here. xoxo..

seems like everyone is taking off to somewhere else during this long weekend.not that long. saturday we have class actually. but" what to do?" as the indians here say..declare our own holiday of course.when else could we discover the "magnificent india". plus this is our final year.

frankly speaking throughout my nearly 4 years in india i've been only to bangalore of course..goa ..ooty..and not to forget "menebus dosa" at jogfalls..heh..still have'nt set foot in agra where the famous taj mahal is.when will we go here??

the experience of our jalan-jalan in india was interesting..

1. trekking 4km up and down a steep hill in the rain at jogfall only to reach the waterfall which was like teh tarik..and we even swam in that water!! the act of "menebus dosa"
2. stranded at 4am in the middle of nowhere on the way to goa..then we had to cramp in another bus which was full of passengers all the way to goa..that paulo maulo liar!
   
3. sea sick after playing all those water sports..5 people got sick..one had iv fluid stuck inside her..vomitted at a tree while waiting for the train..all this happened at goa..the importance of taking promethazine before any journey..
   
4. jump from a moving train when we suddenly noticed that the train was going to mumbai instead of mangalore..how silly it seems if you were watcing the act of jumping..the train actually stopped when all of us had jumped down..hindi movie stunt!
   
5. riding in a sleeper bus where we lay down in an attempt to sleep..but we were tossed around and had to sleep holding to the pole..never riding that bus again..

hmm..wut else..can't think of anything now..but this shows how independent we are..hope this journey goes on smoothly without any trouble..

if you can survive india..you can survive anywhere..
