pros and cons

another 15 minutes before going to the hospital to check up on new admissions..tomorrow grand rounds..better to be prepared..

before going to surgery seminar today, i had this gut feeling that i'll be picked to present for the next seminar..and wut do you know..i got picked.."GREAT!!"
note to self..trust your gut feeling..heh..

okay..one more thingy..due to this upsurge of the swine flu..maybe my trip this semester break has to be cancelled..and you know what..my mom suddenly out of the blue..said to me.."macam tu baliklah"..my mom said that..she never allowed me to go back on such short breaks before..

and for anyone whose mom asked them to go back..of course they'll say yes immediately..but me..i'm still pondering about whether to go back or not?? weird eyh..i've never went back on short breaks..

points in favour to stay:

• i like the rainy season and i can sleep all day
• i can go to movies everyday anytime i want
• i can eat out everyday also anytime i want to
• i just like the "suasana" when there are less people in mangalore and no obligation to go to postings or class

points in favour to go home

• mak wants me to go home
• next i'll be going back in feb 2010
• i miss my family
• i can eat delicious food that i miss
  
• it's a holiday..no skipping class..
• tension from medicine posting and exams

points against going home

• i hate to "berpisah" with my family at the airport..it will turn into a drama
• jal is at school..mak and abah working..me home alone
  
• i'll be spending most of my time at home
• i'll be homesick for sometime after coming back to mangalore

hmm..thats all i think..the points in favour and against..
now i have to decide..we'll see..
