surgery attempting to remove a huge intramesentric tumour.
portions of the small intestine had to be resected out

mass was found to be attached to one of the underlying major vessels.
surgery was stopped since either way patient is unlikely to survive.
some portion of the mass was removed leading to uncontrolled bleeding.

on closing up the abdomen,the patient kept on bleeding.blood was oozing through the remaining portion of the incision not yet sutured.patient was awaken from GA and still understood simple commands.little did he know that he was going to die.sadly an hour after surgery patient died.he was just a middle aged man with a cancer in his abdomen.hope he did'nt feel the pain before he finally succumb to his condition.

to be a surgeon one has to be tough and know how to weigh the pros and cons for making a decision during operating because not everything is given in the book.somethings we learn by experience.
