bad traffic

i have this fear of crossing roads..today when i was on my way to the hospital, the traffic was busy..usually when i'm going to the hospital alone i'd prefer to take an auto since i really2 hate to cross the road when traffic is busy. i decided to walk since i needed some exercise.

the real picture during peak hours

the traffic here is CRAZY!! at peak hours 9am..lunchtime..4-5pm..the buses are literally lining up bumper to bumper.buses are the king of the road.if you're not a bus give way.buses will race with one another to be in front. to be the first to stop at the bus stop.so pedestrian beware when you see a bus.

this evening i was walking to the hospital and there i saw buses lining up because of the red light.usually i'd have a friend who has the courage to walk between the buses to cross the road and i would hold her hand.childish ey.but thats me. always playing safe.

so today there was no friend.i had some errands to run so i was late.and there i was stuck on the other side of the road wishing that the buses would go already.after a few minutes still no go.people were crossing between the buses. i was waiting and waiting.afraid that when i decided to cross the light may go green.

i had to cross no matter what.i was so close to the hospital.so there was this family deciding to cross or not.they looked confident enough so i decided to tag along. i walked along with them. so close.i was walking shoulder to shoulder.i always imagine that one can be crushed between the two buses.i really hate walking between buses.they're like monsters waiting to run you over.
