everywhere babies

tired..
2 days of posting:2 dead babies
learnt intubation and LP on baby..but dead baby..
can draw blood from baby..small sick babies..
still can't insert canula into baby..
teaching one baby "my quiet baby" how to suck using a pacifier..u sleep so much..n never cry..please cry, my dear..then we'll know ur ok..
writing forms for the neverending blood tests..
running to LT when there is a labour to do what paediatricians do..
3 babies came at once: 1 did bag n mask - now alive and healhy
1 normal healthy baby
1 baby need resuscutation and had trisomy 18
calling the stupid lab ppl who never pick up the phones
rode an ambulance today to take a sick baby to hospital..900gm baby
now knows how to wake a sick baby n how to pacify them
running around here n there..

did i miss anything else??
baby Dr said that "you're like a kid..do ppl say that often to u??"..heh..well.. means that i'm still young..
my day as an intern in NICU at a maternity hospital..
no holiday for the next 7 days..going to work on a sunday morning..
don't know what day it is till someone tells me..
exhausting but fun hanging out with sick babies..especially when u see them improving..

babies are cute..heh..now i know..
they'll suck anything when they're hungry..
so cute!!!
