ramblings

today we had ACLS class..and omg..it was soooo confusing..the basics are still somewhat same as the BLS..but the D in ACLS is differential diagnosis..and when u include that, everything becomes difficult..

especially the ECG part..then the drugs for correction..which group of drug it belongs to..what are the side effects of that drug..acidosis..etc..all back to basics..and i could'nt answer any of them..

and the frustrating part is when ur in a small group, the prof points out these people are good..others are not reading..you're not answering anything..hmmm..my mistake..
i should've remembered these things..but u know after exams are over..u tend to forget stuff..especially medicine..since that subject was tough..

and here i am opening up all my huge textbook..from Harrison's, Davidson's, Tripathi, Bailey..even looking up the net for the answers to the questions he asked..felt kinda stupid not able to answer him..as he said, continue reading until u have achieved your goal..if not everything will slip away and it will be difficult for u in the future..

now my little bro has gone to matrix..its his first time away from home..my parents are childless at home..yesterday my mom told me,he msg her at 4am to tell my mom that he was washing his clothes..since he did'nt have any detergent he used lux..i kinda miss him..he was always there whenever i come home for the holidays..he always kept me company..now with his tight schedule he won't be able to visit me here or my bro in NZ..

i really want to show him my place with the new shopping mall just next to my house..literally next door..not exaggerating..i hope he can cope with his studies there..and he succeed this time..i really want him to do well..i know he wants to study abroad too since both of us study abroad..so he has to prove himself..i know he can do it..i don't want to see him sad again..when he's sad i'll be sad..he's the life of our family..

now i feel like i wanna go home..hopefully i can go back soon..
